Romans
Once you have believed the Gospel of your salvation (see here) then it's important to read and study God's word rightly divided.
I recommend beginning by studying Romans. This book establishes you in the grace faith/teachings. Without understanding grace living and your identity in Christ, you might really struggle in your Christian walk. God has laid out the epistles written specifically to us today in such a way as to help us mature spiritually. As we mature spiritually, we are better able to serve God. Spiritual maturity includes not just understanding doctrine in our minds, but it also includes doctrine getting down into our hearts.
I have a series of studies specifically for women on the book of Romans (available as blog posts, podcasts and videos). I recommend reading and re-reading Romans several times first on your own. Then, feel free to see the links below to begin a study in the book of Romans or find another grace teacher that you feel comfortable learning from.
