Why Rightly Divide? To Understand God's Will

Without rightly dividing the word of truth, you may not fully understand God's will for you today. Many believers today think that God's will has to do with their specific career, or finding a soul mate and other worldly issues or they might think that God's will for us is to live according to Old Testament levitical laws or to live according to man-made religious traditions and teachings.

God's will for us today is that 1) all men be saved and 2) to come unto the knowledge of the truth and to 3) Be thankful in all things.

1 Tim 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

You cannot serve God without being saved first, and after salvation we are to be fully established and edified in sound grace doctrine. We become established and edified by studying God's word rightly divided beginning in the book of Romans which is foundational doctrine for the believer today. God's will also includes us being thankful for all He has done for us, for who He is, for who He's made us to be in Christ, for what God is doing today in us as we mature spiritually through the word and what He's doing in forming the church the Body of Christ to inherit the heavenly places etc.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Romans 12:2 - "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

God's will for us also, as believers, are to be ambassadors for Christ with the ministry of reconciliation. We cannot be good ambassadors if we have not yet "come unto the knowledge of the truth".

2 Cor 5:20 "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."

2 Cor 5:18-19 "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."

This work of the ministry is for men and women by the way! We are also to keep a specific order in the local church assembly, but men and women both are to preach the gospel to the lost (though men specifically are to be the pastors of the local assembly) and teach whatever sound grace doctrine that they understand to others who may be weaker in the faith and who are willing to listen.

We are to preach the gospel of the grace of God, not any other gospel (like the gospel of the kingdom etc). The kingdom gospel pertained to Israel's program, which has temporarily been put on hold.

Gal 2:7-9 "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

Acts 20:24 "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."

Romans 16:25

“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”

Many believers today preach the kingdom gospel instead of the gospel of the grace of God. There are many gospel perverters who add some kind of works requirement to the gospel such as water baptism, joining a church, sin confession, praying a special prayer, praying a rosary, etc.

We are to preach a clear gospel message, how that we are saved today by grace through simple faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection as atonement for our sins. We are not required to be water baptized; we are not a priestly nation; we do not have to keep sabbath or holy days; etc all of which pertains to Israel's prophetic program. We are also not waiting to enter into the earthly prophetic kingdom. Believers today have a heavenly inheritance. We will inhabit the heavenly places! Beleiving Israel, after their prophetic program resumes and when the Lord returns after the 7 year tribulation on the earth, will inherit the earth and they will literally rule and reign with Christ on the earth. This was promised to them and God will fulfill his promises to them as well as to us. I will explain both programs more in future Bible studies.

It is in reading and studying the Pauline epistles that you will come to understand more about God's will for us specifically today in the dispensation of grace.

Ephesians 5:17 - Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Children in the Rapture

Will Babies and Children Go Up in the Rapture of the Church the Body of Christ? I used to think that if children had not believed the gospel, then they would remain on the earth during the tribulation period. After all, during the flood of Noah's time, children were also drowned. We know from scripture that there is essentially an age of accountability in which a person comes to know and understand sin and that they willingly choose to sin. For some it is the teenage years, and for a few it might be even younger. C hildren can come to eventually understand that they willingly sin, though if left to understand it without it being explained to them, it may not be understood until they are much older, usually in their teenage years. So, when children die, they go to heaven even if they have never believed the Gospel. As believers we should want to give our children the gospel all throughout their childhood so that they will hopefully choose to believe it. Romans 1:18 says, 18 For th

How to Have Eternal Life

How to Have Eternal Life  To have eternal life, understand first of all that you are a sinner and that you cannot save yourself. Romans 3:23 in the King James Bible says, 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; God is a righteous judge and will judge all people according to their works.  Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. You cannot earn your way to salvation. We are only justified by grace through faith in what Christ Jesus has done for us.  Next, simply believe how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again for your justification. 1 Cor 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, 👉how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"👈 The moment that you SIMPLY BELEIVE that glorious gospel, you are saved forever!  Romans 1:16 16 For I am not as

Keeping a Homemaker Schedule | Biblical Womanhood and Homemaking Studies

Proverbs 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. These are just some helpful suggestions, not rules that you have to follow, but are some things that have worked for me . If you are unable to be a full-time homemaker, you can adjust your schedule in a way that works for your family. God wants women, especially the young women, to be busy taking care of their families, studying His word and teaching her children Gods word. He doesn't want us being idle, nor to be busy doing things that are not profitable or edifying. 1 Tim 5:6 says, But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. 1 Tim 5: 13 And withal they learn to be  idle , wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies (gossiping), speaking things which they ought not.  14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.  15 For s

Romans | Being Established in Sound Grace Doctrine

The book of Romans is foundational doctrine for the believer today. It establishes us in the doctrines of grace. Romans 1:11 says "For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;"  It is an essential gift from God that He has given to us, that through His word rightly divided we can be established in sound grace doctrine so that we can function properly as believers today in the dispensation of the grace of God. We will be able to choose to live Godly, understanding God's will for believers today and participating in the work of the ministry alongside fellow grace believers. We must be established in grace doctrine before we can properly serve God and be helpful towards fellow believers or else we may be trying to live out the Christian life by the efforts of our flesh instead of it being Christ living His life in and through us. The book of Romans establishes us in the grace doctrines so it must be studied first. H

My Personal Testimony | New Age to Grace Believer

I thought I would share my personal testimony with those of you who may be new to my blog, podcasts and videos.  My name is Adrienne Jason and I am a wife to Shawn Jason and a mother to our daughter Serena. I was saved as a little girl but wasn't brought up with a clear understanding of scripture. I attended church camp once, Wednesday night Bible study on occasion with friends and went to a few "vacation Bible schools" too with my siblings. Our whole family attended church a few times together and we did have a Bible study together at home for a few weeks once. I did also attempt to read the Bible on my own as a little girl but didn't understand much. I did know that God (Jesus) created everything and he had lived on the earth and healed people during his earthly ministry, and that He died for our sins, was buried and rose again (I didn't know anything about rightly dividing). **I had BELEIVED the gospel!** I also knew a little bit about the rapture and end times
