Having a Meek and Quiet Spirit  1 Peter 3:3-4 KJB 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. Having a meek and quiet spirit as Christian women is something that we learn as we get sound doctrine built up in our inner man.  First of all, being meek and quiet isn't just for women! Why Rightly Divide? To Understand God's Will

Without rightly dividing the word of truth, you may not fully understand God's will for you today. Many believers today think that God's will has to do with their specific career, or finding a soul mate and other worldly issues or they might think that God's will for us is to live according to Old Testament levitical laws or to live according to man-made religious traditions and teachings.  God's will for us today is that 1) all men be saved and 2) to come unto the knowledge of the truth and to 3) Be thankful in all things.  1 Tim 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." You cannot serve God without being saved first, and after salvation we are to be fully established and edified in sound grace doctrine. We become established and edified by studying God's word rightly divided beginning in the book of Romans which is foundational doctrine for the believer today.
